Job Summary
DR Installs is expanding, and we're hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our active field crews across Northwest Indiana and Illinois.
In this role, you'll work on fully scheduled, pre-planned job sites, no sitting around waiting for work. You'll operate heavy excavation equipment on real pool projects. You'll know exactly where you're going, what you're doing, and when you're getting paid.

What You'll Do
- Operate Bobcat MT100, MT65, T595, and pickup trucks for various excavation tasks.
- Perform excavation operations such as trenching, grading, leveling, and site preparation.
- Conduct daily inspections and basic maintenance of equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow job site plans, layouts, and instructions provided by supervisors.
- Keep detailed logs of work completed, equipment usage, and maintenance performed.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications.

- $20.00 – $25.00 per hour based on experience

What We're Looking For
- 2 years of experience operating excavators or heavy earth moving equipment.
- Experience in utility, underground, or site work construction strongly preferred.
- Ability to read basic site plans, grade stakes, and field drawings.
- Solid understanding of trench safety and shoring requirements.
- Available to work across job sites in Indiana and Illinois.
- Open to overtime and Saturdays based on project schedule.
- Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Dependable, punctual, and a strong team player.
