The Crew Leader / Installer is the face of our franchise on every job site. You will lead a two-person installation crew, mentor a laborer, and take full ownership of delivering flawless Garage Force results in customers' homes and businesses. This is a hands-on field role that combines skilled installation work with team leadership and customer interaction and for top performers, there are clear pathways to potentially advance into management roles.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Craftsmanship
- Perform professional concrete surface preparation, including grinding, shot blasting, and crack repair
- Apply Garage Force CycloSpartic™ multi-layer coating systems according to brand standards
- Install slatwall storage systems, cabinets, and related garage organization products
- Maintain quality control throughout every phase of the installation process
- Ensure job sites are left clean, organized, and fully customer-ready upon completion
Crew Leadership
- Supervise and guide one laborer on all job sites, setting expectations and leading by example
- Train and develop team members on proper techniques, safety protocols, and brand standards
- Plan daily workflow to ensure jobs are completed on schedule and within scope
- Communicate job status updates proactively to the franchise owner
Customer Service & Professionalism
- Serve as the primary customer contact on job sites — professional, courteous, and solution-oriented
- Walk customers through the completed project and ensure full satisfaction before leaving
- Represent the Garage Force brand with pride in appearance, communication, and work ethic
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or products when appropriate
Equipment & Vehicle Management
- Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, trailers, and installation equipment
- Conduct pre- and post-job equipment checks and report any maintenance needs promptly
- Manage material inventory and ensure the vehicle/trailer is properly stocked before each job
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record — required for operating company vehicle and trailer
- Demonstrated reliability — punctual, dependable, and consistently follows through on commitments
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times in customer-facing environments
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 75 lbs, kneeling, and working on feet all day
- Strong communication skills — ability to clearly direct crew members and speak with customers
- Pass a background check
Desired Qualifications – Willing to train the right candidate
- Prior experience in concrete coatings, flooring installation, painting, or construction trades
- Previous crew lead or supervisory experience
- Experience operating grinders, blasters, or spray equipment
- Basic knowledge of surface prep techniques and coating applications
- Comfort with upselling or recommending additional services to customers

Pay: $24.79 - $29.86 per hour
