Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Paraoptometric Professional to join our eye care team. No experience necessary, we will train the right person.
Responsibilities
- Assist doctor during eye examinations and diagnostic testing to ensure accurate results and efficient workflow
- Prepare patients for exams by taking medical histories, measuring visual acuity, and performing preliminary tests such as tonometry or refraction assessments
- Educate patients on eye health, proper contact lens care, and prescribed treatments to promote understanding and compliance
- Maintain accurate patient records, update charts, and document clinical findings in compliance with privacy regulations
- Manage inventory of optical supplies, instruments, and patient education materials to ensure readiness for daily operations
- Support administrative duties including scheduling appointments, confirming patient information, and handling billing or insurance documentation as needed
- Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for staff and patients

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
