Job Overview:
Dr. Dental is looking for a Dental Assistant for our office located in Norwalk, CT. This is a full-time position for a friendly, and motivated Dental Assistant who is focused on providing the best patient care possible.
Pay: $24-$28 plus performance bonus program!
Schedule: Mon-Friday 9-5 and every other Saturday 9-3
Responsibilities For Our Ideal Dental Assistant:
- Greet and prepare patients for treatment
- Chairside assisting during a variety of dental procedures
- Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures
- Provide patient instructions and education on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health and provide instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures
- Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
- Maintain strict compliance with infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA
- Maintain dental supply inventory and perform other job related duties
- Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
Required Education and Experience:
- Radiology and Infection control certificates are required!
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant preferred
- High School degree or equivalent is required
- Basic computer skills and knowledge is required
