Duties
- Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to alleviate pain and tension
- Develop customized treatment plans based on patient physiology and medical history
- Educate clients on self-care practices and occupational health strategies to support ongoing wellness
- Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with medical terminology standards
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to hygiene protocols and professional standards
- Collaborate with clients to refine treatment approaches and enhance overall satisfaction
Requirements
- Valid massage therapy license or certification in accordance with state or regional regulations
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
- Skilled in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and adapt treatments accordingly
