What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Sterilization Assistant position at Dr Brian Kerr DMD PS?
A second Dental Sterilization Assistant position needed for Mon-Fri, 9-5:30. Requires a Registered Dental Assistant certification from the state. We are a general dentistry office preforming all aspects of dentistry with multiple dentists and 10 operatories. The responsibilities of the Sterilization Assistant will be, but not limited to:
- Sterilization of instruments
- Breaking down and setting up rooms
- Stocking rooms
- Assisting hygienist with perio charting
- X-rays, if asked
- Maintenance of sterilization equipment and lines in operatories
