This is a great opportunity for someone with has Dental Assistant Experience and wants to transition to Front Office, or for someone with Dental Reception / Office Administrator experience who wants to grow to the next level. Please come with 2yrs Dental Front Office or Assistant Experience.

Job Summary:
The Dental Receptionist / Office Administrator works closely with the doctor and staff to assure that all of the business aspects of the practice are functioning in an orderly and proficient manner. The administrator communicates the practice philosophy through systems, problem solving and communication. As is with every member of the team; the goal is to bring out the best in each one of us.
Responsibilities and Accountability:
- Ensure that the patient experience is positive and efficiently handled
- Immediately acknowledge all patients when they enter the office (speak loud enough to be heard). Introduce yourself by name to each patient
- Answer the telephone by the second ring whenever possible (you are responsible third on the phones)
- Update health history forms when applicable
Continuing Care:
- Follow the established Continuing Care Protocol on a daily, weekly, monthly basis (this is your primary responsibility)
- Carefully track patients currently being seen by a periodontist or orthodontist to ensure regular continuing care appointments in our office
New Patient:
- Complete the phone questionnaire on every new patient and enter into PracticeWorks
- Direct patient to the website for new patient forms
- Give new patient questionnaire to teammate
Scheduling:
- Schedule each provider to goal
- Prior to scheduling; verify financial estimate has been given
- Track diagnosed/accepted treatment
