You could be a part of our team at Dr Barnes & Associates LLC. Our goal is to help people and take care of their vision needs. We are seeking a personable individual for a part-time receptionist/technician position in the eye care field. Looking for someone dependable and punctual. Accuracy of data entry and computer skills are essential. Must be able to prioritize tasks. Knowledge of contact lenses helpful. Spanish speaking is a plus.
We will train the right person.
Duties include:
- Patient check in and check out
- Phones and scheduling
- Invoices and collecting fees
- Filing/fax/scan/office computer skills
- Technician duties
- Training new contact lens wearers
Qualifications
- Patient service experience
- Office experience, including filing and data entry
- Front desk skills
- Proficiency in EMR systems
- Ability to work with multi-line phone systems
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations
Part time position 25 hrs weekly. May become full time.
