Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair four business locations. This position requires traveling between locations to complete a wide variety of maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate is experienced in general building maintenance, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
● Travel between four business locations as needed
● Perform general building maintenance and repairs
● Interior and exterior painting
● Basic plumbing repairs and fixture replacement
● Replace and repair lighting, electrical fixtures, and bulbs
● Install and repair flooring, including tile and other flooring materials
● Repair and maintain doors, locks, shelving, and other building components
● Troubleshoot and repair small equipment
● Complete preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
● Keep maintenance logs and communicate repair needs
● Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
● Respond to maintenance emergencies when necessary
Qualifications
● Experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or a related trade
● Knowledge of painting, plumbing, flooring, tiling, lighting, and small equipment repair
● Ability to diagnose and solve maintenance issues independently
● Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
● Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
● Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work including climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
● Basic hand and power tool proficiency required
