Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of food items including ice cream, sundaes, and other menu offerings with precision and care
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately using POS systems such as PAR BRINK and process transactions efficiently
• Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food prep areas, dining spaces, and behind the counter to ensure food safety compliance
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately while providing excellent cashiering service
• Assist with food handling duties such as serving and bussing tables to keep the dining area inviting
• Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks including food prep, customer service, and cleaning

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or quick service restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and making change confidently
• Knowledge of POS systems like PAR BRINK is a plus but training will be provided
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a welcoming environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or cleaning equipment
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or café setting is advantageous but not mandatory; we value motivated individuals eager to grow their skills in the food industry

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
