We’re looking for a skilled and creative Cake Decorator to join our Dairy Queen team! If you have a passion for decorating, an eye for detail, and love making special occasions even sweeter, this could be the perfect fit.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing, icing, and decorating our signature ice cream cakes and desserts — both for the cake freezer and custom customer orders. We’re looking for someone who can work independently, manage their time well, and take pride in keeping things clean and organized.
What You’ll Do:
- Decorate custom and standard Dairy Queen cakes with creativity and precision
- Maintain the cake freezer with a fresh and appealing display
- Prepare ice cream cakes from start to finish (building, icing, and decorating)
- Ensure your work area and tools are cleaned and sanitized after each shift
- Keep the cake production area and freezer well-stocked and organized
- Occasionally assist at the front counter as needed (cross-training provided)
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous cake decorating experience required
- Strong attention to detail and artistic flair
- Steady hands and a good eye for proportion and design
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to lift moderate weight (ice cream cakes, supplies)
- Comfortable working a flexible schedule — available weekdays and weekends
- Students and part-time job seekers encouraged to apply
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in baking or pastry arts
- Valid Driver’s License (for occasional deliveries or errands, if needed)
- Food Handler Certification or Food Safety Certification
