Position Summary
DPV Transportation is seeking a Business Development Executive with a strong track record in B2B enterprise sales and long-cycle contracts. This senior-level role offers the chance to lead strategy, own relationships, and drive multi-million-dollar growth at a fast-growing, mission-driven company.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive growth across Massachusetts and New England by developing relationships with universities, hospitals, corporate campuses, and transit agencies.
- Build and manage a $10M sales pipeline, converting opportunities into multi-year contracts.
- Represent DPV at major industry events and conferences, positioning our brand as a leader in sustainability and supplier diversity.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to design custom transportation solutions.
- Lead the full sales cycle - from prospecting and discovery through RFPs, proposals, and negotiations.
- Serve as a brand ambassador and thought leader, highlighting DPV’s strengths in safety, technology, and ESG leadership.
What Success Looks Like (First Year)
- 3–5 new multi-year contracts signed in key industries
- $10M qualified pipeline generated
- 75 C-suite or director-level meetings completed
- 50 new qualified leads from conferences
- $5M in direct annualized revenue growth
Qualifications
- 5 years of enterprise B2B sales with proven success in long-cycle, high-value contracts (transportation, facilities management, healthcare, higher ed, or related fields).
- Strong network and credibility within universities, healthcare systems, and corporate campuses in the Northeast.
- Experience navigating RFP-driven sales environments.
- Consultative, solution-focused sales style.
- Executive presence with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Commitment to diversity, sustainability, and ESG initiatives.
Compensation
- $100K base salary commission
- Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, 401(k), and PTO
