Job Title: Part-Time Physical Therapist (Outpatient Clinic)

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Part-Time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team in Gurnee, Illinois. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and helping individuals restore function, improve mobility, and reduce pain.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and physician referrals
• Deliver hands-on therapy and guide patients through therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation programs
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve functional goals
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory and clinic standards
• Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and wellness strategies
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment

Qualifications

• Doctor or Master of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program
• Current Illinois Physical Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain)
• CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical reasoning and patient care skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous outpatient orthopedic experience
• Experience with manual therapy techniques and evidence-based treatment approaches
• Familiarity with EMR systems
