Doctors of Physical Therapy (DPT) is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Physical Therapist (PT) to provide exceptional patient care across our West Lansing and Lansing outpatient clinics. Are you a therapist who is passionate about hand therapy but has not yet earned your CHT credential? We welcome motivated clinicians interested in pursuing certification. Our team offers mentorship and professional support to help you work toward becoming a Certified Hand Therapist. Founded in 2005 by a physical therapist, Doctors of Physical Therapy is dedicated to helping patients achieve faster recovery and lasting results through evidence-based, patient-centered care.
Position Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapy interventions to improve function, mobility, and overall quality of life.
- Design and implement treatment programs that promote strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, and wellness.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate outcomes effectively.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Help patients reduce reliance on medication and explore conservative treatment options when appropriate.
