Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a CAPEX Project Manager who is responsible for key strategic innovation and portfolio projects oversee all aspects of project execution; sets deadlines, track responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress. Project Managers plan, execute, and control a project or set of related projects to meet identified business requirements and deliver business value, through acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources

Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a CAPEX Project Manager who is responsible for key strategic innovation and portfolio projects oversee all aspects of project execution; sets deadlines, track responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress. Project Managers plan, execute, and control a project or set of related projects to meet identified business requirements and deliver business value, through acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources
Role accountabilities:
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects
- Proactively analyze variances against plan to assess trends threatening agreed scope, time, cost, and quality commitments
- Align expectations and ensure that the decision-making of stakeholders happens in a timely and effective manner
- Mobilize and lead teams composed of a mixture of staff and suppliers across organizational boundaries
- Responsible for coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects.
- Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specification and best practices
- Reviews, approves and provides necessary documentation for invoicing in a timely manner
- Performs other related duties as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree required, Engineering degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed
- Experience and proficiency with project management software
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related Software
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
- Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required. Will consider US domestic travelers and relocation.
