Role description:
Arcadis is seeking Electrical, Mechanical, and Process BIM Designers to join our Semiconductor sector, supporting multiple clients on large-scale advanced technology construction projects in Boise, Idaho. Successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have experience developing detailed BIM models and construction documents for complex, multidisciplinary projects.
These roles will work as part of an integrated project team, collaborating closely with engineers, coordinators, and field teams to develop, coordinate, and deliver high-quality 3D models and design documentation across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Experience supporting facility design for cleanrooms, laboratories, semiconductor fabs, data centers, solar manufacturing, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries is highly desirable.
Role accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for electrical, mechanical, or process systems using tools such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and Plant 3D.
- Produce construction-ready drawings and deliverables, including plans, sections, elevations, and isometrics.
- Collaborate with engineers, BIM coordinators, and other discipline designers to ensure fully coordinated, clash-free models.
- Participate in coordination meetings and support resolution of clashes and design issues.
- Incorporate constructability feedback from field teams into models and drawings.
- Ensure all models and deliverables comply with project BIM standards, execution plans, and client requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation and version control of all design deliverables.
- Support continuous improvement of modeling workflows, standards, and efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 4 years of experience in BIM modeling/design for electrical, mechanical, or process systems, preferably in advanced technology or industrial projects.
- Proficiency in relevant BIM tools such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and/or Plant 3D.
- Strong understanding of discipline-specific systems (electrical, HVAC/mechanical, or process/piping).
- Experience producing detailed construction documents from BIM models.
- Familiarity with clash detection and coordination workflows.
- Degree or certification in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required.
