Currently, DPRA is searching for a Network Engineer in our Knoxville, Tennessee office location. This full-time position will design and build computing platforms, applications and networks operating in a hybrid environment both on premise and in the cloud.      

Essential Job Duties and Functions:

• Researches technical components of system architecture for on premise environments and Cloud services/tenants   
• Maintains compliance with applicable laws, regulations and policies governing information assurance
• Monitors, maintains and installs Third Party software and Operating System security updates
• Monitors, maintains and ensure complete information and data backup of all test and development environments
• Engages with Security Engineers to ensure vulnerabilities are mitigated
• Deploys major and minor releases and hotfixes of company developed software to all test and development environments
• Develops and maintains documentation of all test and development environments to include build and configuration documents for servers within the environments

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Minimum of two years' of experience in performing the job functions
• DoD Secret Clearance, and ability to obtain U.S. government Top Secret Clearance
• Ability to support and manage Active Directory 2012 R2 and newer and Azure AD
• Ability to Design, deploy, manage and support Azure and AWS solutions and services
• Demonstrated knowledge of MS Exchange or Hosted Exchange
• Demonstrated knowledge of O365 Administration
• Demonstrated knowledge of Routers, Firewalls and L2Managed switchtes
• Demonstrated knowledge of VMware (vCenter, ESXi, Horizon View)
• Demonstrated knowledge of supporting Windows operation systems (Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019 and Windows 10  & 11 desktops)
• Demonstrated knowledge of backup solutions such as Backup Exec and Veeam
• Basic understanding of Windows PowerShell
• Basic understanding of Terminal Servers, MS RDS Deployments
• Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Certification Required
