Sr. Java Backend Engineer
Location: Pleasanton, CA (Onsite)- local to Bay area
Required Skills:
- 8 years of experience in backend development using Java.
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.
- Experience with Java 17 (preferred).
- Solid understanding of backend architecture, multithreading, collections, and design patterns.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
- Experience deploying applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Hands-on experience integrating or building AI/LLM-powered applications.
- Experience with AI frameworks/tools such as LangChain, Spring AI, OpenAI APIs, Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI, Anthropic Claude, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, pgvector).
- Knowledge of Python for AI workflows.
- Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or AI agents.
