Job Title: Data Governance Specialist – Supply Chain
Location: Pleasanton, CA (Onsite)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Data Governance Specialist with strong experience in Supply Chain Data Management, Master Data Governance, and Data Quality Management. The ideal candidate will work closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Planning, and IT teams to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of enterprise data assets. This role will play a critical part in establishing governance standards, improving data quality, and supporting business reporting and analytics initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain supply chain master data (Product, Vendor, Inventory, Location, etc.).
Monitor and improve data quality by identifying and resolving data issues.
Define and enforce data standards, business rules, and governance processes.
Partner with Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, Logistics, and IT teams to support business needs.
Document data definitions, processes, and governance procedures.
Support data-related audits and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with analytics teams to ensure reliable reporting and insights.
Participate in data governance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Data Governance, Master Data Management, or Data Analytics.
Understanding of supply chain processes such as Inventory, Procurement, Logistics, and Planning.
Able to communicate and present effectively to C Suite leadership
Experience working with Data Governance tools like Alation, Atlan, Collibra is plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with Excel, SQL, or data analysis tools is preferred.
