Position summary:
- Provide testing and testing services for multiple clients, including onsite service where needed.
- Make recommendations to clients on how to improve testing activities.
- Track quality assurance metrics.
- Participate in the design phase of projects to ensure that new or modified functions are developed using correct testing methodology.
- Arrange major activities between the client and IS staff to ensure maximum gain from technical resources.
- Complete supportive administrative and lead activities such as attending sessions with customers, planning and disbursing projects to team members, completing reports and developing processes.
- Perform testing duties which may involve reviewing test data, creating test cases, executing testing, and monitoring/documenting results.

- Excellent project planning, organizational, time management and business analysis skills.
- Thorough understanding of data processing terminology, operations, and architecture utilized in debugging application/environmental problems.
- Thorough understanding of systems migration processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Skill in testing data creation and manipulation.
- Ability to understand functional connections between applications.
- Ability to utilize test requirements, specifications, diagrams, logic functions, etc.
- 5 years of IT experience including experience developing test plans and/or matrices.
- The Validation Services team operates within IT’s Enterprise Delivery Services and includes an immediate team of approximately 11 members, contributing to a broader testing organization of about 56 professionals. The team supports a wide range of initiatives, including claims processing, onboarding new plans, and managed care projects.
- Standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch.
- Additional expectations may include overtime, on-call support, weekend work, and occasional travel between company locations, based on business needs and workload demands in support of both internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;
- OR, Associates degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
- OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 9 years without a degree)
