If you have 5 years of structural assembly experience and can read blueprints and install rivets and hi-locks, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble major structural components and subassemblies
Perform minor part fitting (filing, trimming, drilling, riveting, reaming, framing)
Align parts using templates, fixtures, and jigs
Measure components using micrometers and calipers
Install fasteners such as rivets and hi-locks
Modify assemblies and incorporate design changes
Inspect work and verify quality standards
Follow blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Required Skills & Experience
Must own tools in good working condition
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Experience installing fasteners (rivets, hi-locks, etc.)
Experience with structural assembly and minor part fitting
Ability to maintain proper edge distance and pitch
Experience with structural repair or corrosion removal, as applicable
High School Diploma or GED required
Typically 5 years of relevant structural assembly experience
(Advanced education or related experience may substitute for required experience)
Preferred Qualifications
Aerospace or defense industry background
Military aviation experience
Ability to travel if required
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, if required
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, climbing, and repetitive hand motion
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Frequent exposure to loud noise and outdoor elements
Occasional exposure to fumes or hazardous materials
This is a safety-sensitive position involving structural inspection and operation around heavy equipment
