Role
As a Program Planning Scheduling Analyst 2, you will prepare, develop and coordinate the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives. You will ensure all major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality. You'll track plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts. You'll utilize Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet program objectives.
- Ensure schedules are integrated across engineering, manufacturing, materials, and finance, conducting critical path analysis and network logic validation.
- Implement industry standards such as DCMA 14-point analysis, Earned Value Management (EVM), and Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA).
- Utilize tools like Microsoft Project, Open Plan, or Primavera P6 to monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and suggest corrective actions.
- Support Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSR) and prepare weekly/monthly status reports for management
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
- Understanding of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) guidelines, principles and reporting.
- Understanding of Material Cost Management.
- Experience in Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA), Critical Path Analysis, and knowledge of DCMA 14-point health metrics.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project.
- Experience within the defense or aerospace industry.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines and work collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government (DoD) Secret security clearance. Active, in-scope DoD Secret security clearance a huge plus.
