Senior Production Manager
We’re looking for a Senior Production Manager to support a high-volume aerospace manufacturing environment.
This is a surge and backlog cleanup role for someone who enjoys taking ownership of messy work orders, clearing production bottlenecks, and keeping manufacturing schedules moving.

What you’ll be doing:
- Drive down aged and stalled work-order backlogs
- Clean up MRP/ERP data and close out inactive orders
- Identify material, kitting, and production blockers
- Expedite hot jobs to prevent schedule delays
- Support work-center coverage and routine escalations
- Track and communicate daily backlog progress
- Identify recurring production constraints and escalate them appropriately
- Partner with Production Control teams to keep WIP moving
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in production control, scheduling, expediting, or manufacturing operations
- Hands-on experience with an ERP/MRP system such as SAP, Costpoint, or similar
- Comfortable working directly with work orders and production data
- Experience clearing backlogs or resolving production issues
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Willingness to work off-nominal shifts and overtime when needed
Nice to have:
- Backlog remediation or data cleanup experience
- Manufacturing expediting experience
- MS Project / Microsoft Office experience
- Jira/ITS experience
- Aerospace or automotive manufacturing experience
- Experience in both development and production environments
