What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Daycare Attendant position at dozo dog?
We are a boutique styled dog daycare, boarding and grooming facility!
You will be working inside a dog play environment with approximately 25-30 dogs. You and your team will be responsible for the cleanliness, saftey and happiness of each and every dog.
While inside the play environment you will be expected to clean up after the dogs immediately. You will be taught to thoroughly disinfect the play environment and ensure the safety of the dogs in your care. We have a very thorough and extensive safety and cleaning process in which you will assisting your co-workers with throughout the course of the day as the dogs are socializing.
When dogs are playing sometimes they may start to play a bit too rough, If play becomes to rough it will be you and your teams responsibility to stop it immediately.
You will be assisting your team by taking dogs on relief walks, out for dog park or with pick up and drop off service.
This is a customer service business therefore you will be expected to always greet our wonderful customers by waving and smiling.

Compensation
This is an entry level position, Starting pay is $17.50 per hour. Depending on your performance and punctuality a pay increase may occur after approximately 3-4 months. Your pay will be increased to $18.50 per hour. In general there will always be room to grow in salary and position as we have different structured positions ( Dog Handler,, Senior dog handler, Assistant manager, Manager )
Requirements
- 2 years Dog Handling at dog related facility
- 18 years or older
- US Work authorization
