CDL Crane Operator

Dozier Crane & Rigging, LLC (DCR) in Douglasville, GA is growing!

DCR is seeking a local crane operator to operate taxi cranes. DCR owns a wide variety of cranes from 30 ton to 350 ton. Operator must have a minimum of 2 years' experience and live in the vicinity of Douglasville/Atlanta area.

The operator needs experience in taxi crane work: taking crane to and from jobsite, reviewing location and deciding on proper crane placement, setup, and operating the crane.

Hair follicle drug testing will be required upon hiring.

Responsibilities

• Operate a lattice boom crawler crane OR rough terrain crane to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment
• Use mechanical knowledge to inspect crane equipment for safe operation
• Safely handle materials during loading, unloading, and transportation

Skills

• Valid crane operator certification/license
• Proficient in operating various types of cranes
• 2 years of CDL heavy haul experience is required

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee spends most of their time in external conditions, which may include temperature variance, elevated noise levels, dust, and fumes. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
