JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the IT Service Delivery Manager, the IT Intern will gain hands-on exposure to enterprise information technology operations. This internship will support the Information Technology Department and assist in desktop support activities, assisting in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and may observe and assist with network and system administration tasks. This internship is designed as a structured learning opportunity.

This Internship will work May-August.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Observe and assist IT staff, including shadowing technicians during service requests, to assist with basic troubleshooting, communication, and issue resolution workflows
- Assist with documenting support activities, system configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Support asset inventory, equipment setup, imaging, and deployment activities under supervision
- Participate in planning and preparation activities for hardware and software upgrades
- Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a Doyon Shareholder
- Enrollment in an undergraduate program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic computer support skills; strong desire to learn and expand IT knowledge.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with desktop support, troubleshooting, or help desk operations.
- Industry certifications (e.g. CompTIA A , Network , Microsoft, Cisco) or progress toward certification.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and organizational skills
SKILLS INTERN WILL OBTAIN:
- Hands-on experience providing desktop and network support.
- Exposure to enterprise-level system and network administration in a multi-site environment.
- Experience using ticketing systems, documentation processes, and IT troubleshooting workflows.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: The majority of work is performed in a professional office setting with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities and abilities.
