Job Description:
- PURPOSE OF JOB: To perform radiographic mammograms, breast localizations and stereotactic procedures, as required by the Mammography technologist position.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Maintain clinical competency in the Mammography technologist position requirements.
2. Provide patient care for all of our patients/customers by performing procedures prescribed by a physician.
3. Compile and maintain patient records and department schedules.
4. Knowledge of the PAC's system, review workstations and computer systems.
Job Qualifications:
V. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program.
ARRT certification in Mammography within one year of hire
- Experience: Prior experience and training in use of dedicated mammography unit.
- Other Skills: Good Communication and customer service skills.
