Works with grieving families and is comfortable dealing continuously with death and dying. (25%)
B. Communication and collaboration with patients, families, healthcare providers, and community resources in order to achieve patient/family, and program goals and positive health outcomes. Establish goal-directed plans that reflect own observations as well as those shared by other Hospice team members. Understands and is able to make appropriate community referrals. Documentation is accurate and on time 90%. (25%)
Job Qualifications:
Education: Masters Degreein Divinity or Masters Degree in Religious Arts from an accredited seminary, university, or divinity program.
Completion of at least 1 CPE preferred.
Experience: Ministry in local church or pastoral/clinical experience of at least 2 years highly preferred, or
Hospice experience along with knowledge of principles of death and dying counseling and family systems.
Other Skills: Must be able to deal and communicate effectively with a wide range of people, work with all faith groups.Comfortable with public speaking situations.Must drive a car in inclement weather.
