Doylestown Country Club is one of Bucks County’s premier private clubs, serving hundreds of Member families with exceptional golf, dining, aquatics, weddings, private events, and social experiences.
Our Food & Beverage operation is unlike a traditional restaurant. In addition to multiple dining venues, we host weddings, private receptions, Member celebrations, golf tournaments, concerts, wine dinners, holiday events, and seasonal programing.
Job Summary
Doylestown Country Club is looking for an emerging hospitality leader who wants more than just another restaurant job. The Food & Beverage Manager will report to the Clubhouse Manager and will work amongst a team to provide our Members the best experience possible.
From managing multiple dining venues to hosting different events, no week at DCC is ever the same. Our ideal candidate should be able to effectively lead daily operations and ensure the team delivers exceptional hospitality experiences to our Members and their guests. At DCC, we lead our team of staff by example and coach & develop them through positive leadership.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 2-3 years of progressive hospitality experience
- At least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Preferred
- Experience in upscale dining, fine dining, hotels, resorts, or private clubs
- ServSafe Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic knowledge of bar service standards including general understanding of types of wines or spirits
Job Duties
- Lead daily operations across multiple food & beverage venues throughout the Club.
- Deliver exceptional hospitality experiences for Members and their guests.
- Coach, mentor, and develop FOH staff through positive leadership.
- Conduct engaging pre-shift meetings and daily service coaching
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Partner closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team to deliver outstanding experiences.
- Manage Member feedback professionally and proactively.
- Serve as Manager-on-Duty as scheduled.
- Monitor labor, payroll, and operational performance.
- Maintain high standards for cleanliness, safety, service, and food quality.
- Collaborate with leadership to continually improve the Member experience and identify opportunities to elevate service.
