Doyle Security Services, Inc. (DSS) is seeking experienced Security Officers in the New York City area for High End Residential and Hotel Locations.
SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
- Schedule 1: Saturday, Sunday 0700-1500
- Schedule 2: Saturday & Sunday 0800-1600
- Schedule 3: Tuesday & Wednesday 1000-1800, Thursday - Saturday 1500-2300
PAY RATE: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

JOB SUMMARY: Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.
SHIFT SUPERVISOR/LEAD ROVER JOB DUTIES
- Oversee and direct shift operations of on-site staff in accordance with the established client post orders & DSS company riles and policies.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while providing guidance to the on-site staff.
- Conduct rounds throughout the shift of the site via guardtek.
- Investigate and complete reports related to incidents and/or accidents via guardtek.
- Assist with maintaining proper timesheets and payroll records.
- Assist with training and mentoring of the shift for the on-site staff.
- Interact with local law enforcement agencies as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. Security or related experience or customer service knowledge and college level education can be substituted for work experience.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-2 years of Residential / Residential Experience
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid NYS Security Guard License
- Must be available to work weekends
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must have exceptional Customer Service Skills
- Must be able to verbally de-escalate situations
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to understand the English language and communicate it effectively in both the verbal and written form
- Some positions may require a 7-year consistent work history
