Doyle Security Services is seeking to hire a Security Patrol Officer in Scranton, Pennsylvania. This position ensures that our clients and their facilities are secure. Our Security Officers are trained for a number of different posts and length of work.
Shift:
Wednesday to Friday - 2PM to 10PM; Saturday and Sunday 6AM to 2PM
PAY RATE : $20.00 per hour
MUST HAVE A DRIVER'S LICENSE AND CLEAN DRIVING RECORD

Doyle Security is hiring for a unique security position in Scranton, PA. The position consists of operating a company owned pickup truck or other large vehicle for each tour and travel to multiple locations to conduct security inspections at the location. This is an outdoor position, in addition, this position requires the security officer to open and close gates, check locks, gates and fence lines and a multitude of other tasks:
- Check reservoir dams and spillways for overflow and damage
- Check for remnants of campfires and camping on customer property
- Respond to locations to engage with trespassers, hunters, fisherman and other individuals who wander onto the property
- Write and submit timely daily, incident, and other reports electronically via a company smart phone
You will encounter many types of wildlife during your tour, so if you're not accustomed to wooded and rural environments, this can be a challenge.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Driver's License and Clean Driving Record
- Security Experience preferred
- Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
