What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Field Supervisor, Nassau County position at Doyle Security Services?
We are seeking a Security Field Supervisor to assist in the organization and oversight of security operations in our Long Island District. Security personnel will be under your command while you develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain security standards. MUST HAVE FLEXIBLE AVAILABILITY, RELIABLE VEHICLE AND CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.
As Security Field Supervisor, you will have to demonstrate excellent communication, and emergency response skills. You will need a strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of safety risks. Since you will have a number of people under your responsibility, you must also exhibit leadership skills.
Location: Nassau County, Suffolk County & Queens as needed
Schedule: Friday & Saturday, 2000-0400 / Saturday & Sunday, 1900-0300
Payrate: $22.50/hr.
Responsibilities
- Train and supervise security officers
- Scheduling and Deployment of security officers
- Ensure that scheduling is handled effectively to meet the client requirements for daily operations and special events
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures
- Investigate and resolve issues
- Provide immediate response to emergencies and issues that arise
- Perform site and equipment inspections to confirm all are up to standards
- Become proficient in the company software systems for scheduling, tour reports & inspections
- Create reports for management on security status
- Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs
- Perform operations related functions that include scheduling, overtime management, review of daily logs and incident reports.
- Hold post when deemed necessary
- Maintain up to date and accurate timekeeping systems and records for staff.
Requirements
- Must have minimum 2-3 years Security Field Supervisory Experience
- Valid NYS Security Guard License
- Valid Driver's License
- Own vehicle and clean driving record a plus
- Must be reliable to work weekends
- Proven experience as security supervisor or similar position
- Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
- Experience using relevant technology and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Committed and reliable
- High school diploma, Further education in security administration or similar field will be an asset
