Purpose of Job
This position works in a warehouse or production facility and is responsible for packing, labeling, and organizing multiple products into a single package/pallet, also known as a kit. This role will also handle the storage and movement and delivery of the kitted supplies to various departments throughout the facility.

Normally working on the plant floor, which includes manual labor. Will at times be exposed to heat, cold, inclement weather, noise, vibration, welding sparks, grease, oil, and diesel fuel.

Role and Responsibilities
- The role of Warehouse worker is to prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule.
- Perform inventory controls to keep high quality standards and accurate inventory counts and report any discrepancies.
- Prepare kits of material for the production areas of the plant
- Organize and label outgoing parts into the correct storage areas.
- Participate in general housekeeping duties such as sweeping, discarded material and cardboard
- Label kitted material with identifying tags and/or marks them with pertinent information
- Participate in continues improvement processes/problem solving
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Organize and sort items on shelving, bins, and overhangs according to company standards
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Interpersonal skills are essential, as working as a team is vital to maintaining and organized warehouse
- Experience using a forklift and professional forklift certification is strongly preferred
- Record keeping skills necessary to provide accurate information for managers and supervisors regarding warehouse inventory
- Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance
