DOXA Insurance Holdings is seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing Corporate Finance team. This role will play a key part in the month-end close and financial reporting process across multiple business units within a fast-growing specialty insurance platform.
The Senior Accountant will partner closely with business unit finance teams and corporate leadership to support accurate financial reporting, process improvement, and scalable accounting operations in a highly acquisitive environment. This role offers strong exposure to executive leadership, operational finance, and acquisition-related activities while providing meaningful opportunities for career growth.

Description:

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end close activities for multiple subsidiaries and business units, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records within NetSuite and other accounting systems
- Collaborate with business unit accounting teams to improve close processes, standardization, and internal controls
- Assist with intercompany accounting and consolidation-related activities
- Support acquisition integration activities and other special projects as needed
- Assist with the annual financial statement audit and support audit and tax-related requests
- Analyze financial results and investigate fluctuations to support management reporting and operational decision-making
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting efficiency, and data accuracy
- Support ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and cross-functional initiatives
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3 years of accounting experience in public accounting and/or a corporate accounting environment
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and core accounting principles
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a deadline-driven environment
- Detail-oriented with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
- Experience working in a multi-entity or high-growth environment
- Insurance industry experience preferred
