Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join Downtown Medical Group. This is a contract, on-site role at our San Francisco, CA location. The physician will provide primary and urgent care to a diverse adult patient population, including managing chronic conditions, performing routine physical exams, administering immunizations, and addressing acute medical concerns. The role requires ongoing collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Primary Care and Family Medicine practices
- Experience with Urgent Care and managing acute medical conditions
- Knowledge and commitment to Community Health principles
- Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- DEA license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based care environment
- Current and unrestricted California medical license
- Experience or certification in travel medicine and immigration medical exams is a plus
