POSITION SUMMARY:
The surveillance operator will monitor security video systems and other areas to identify suspicious activity, prevent theft and cheating, and protect property. The surveillance operator may also direct security personnel and report any unusual occurrences to the Director of Surveillance.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Completes or assists in the installation, maintenance and repair of all Surveillance equipment to maintain maximum efficiency.
- Keeps abreast of technological changes in equipment and makes recommendations for upgrades, changes, and new equipment.
- Responsible for digital systems programming to include archiving and storage of video evidence.
- Maintains and is responsible for parts inventory for CCTV repair and to include digital system, cameras and related CCTV equipment.
- Observes all safety regulations in the performance of assigned duties and reports any safety hazards to Director of Surveillance.
- Must adhere to all regulations of Nevada Gaming Control Board and the Company internal controls.
- Must be able to give court testimony when required as well as write understandable, detailed reports.
- Responsible to ensure all surveillance equipment is functioning throughout their respective shift.
- Responsible for observing, documenting, and reporting on all activity on property in order to protect property assets as well as Guests and Team Members.
- Responsible for operating all surveillance computer equipment.
- Assist Director with dissemination of documentation to operating departments as well as law enforcement.
- Complying with NCGB regulations, MICS, state ordinances, and Company policies and procedures.
- Responsible to report all violations and suspicious behaviors to Director, verbally or in writing.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Required: 2 years of Surveillance experience working with a digital surveillance system.

Nevada Gaming Control Registration
