POSITION SUMMARY:
The Slots Manager is responsible for operating and maintaining an efficient and profitable slot operation, as well as participating in Company planning and direction. The Slots Manager manages the overall Slot Department including scheduling and staffing of Slot Ambassadors, Technicians and Players Club representatives. The Slots Manager is responsible for Slot Tech operations and performance of slots and slot repair to ensure compliance with established regulations, policies, and procedures.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Plans and coordinates slot performance projects both internal and external including competitive analysis.
- Conducts effective analysis and reporting on slot products to maximize revenue and protect company assets.
- Ensures accurate completion and breakdown of monthly reports.
- Reviews analysis of operations, cost and forecast data to determine progress toward goals and objectives.
- Designs, assembles, implements, and monitors all Slot training materials and programs in the development and enhancement of team member skills.
- Supervises the training and skill development of both Slot Operations and Slot Technician employees.
- Maintains strong working knowledge of internal controls, policies and procedures and ensures compliance.
- Ensures optimal operational efficiency through continual interaction with management and subordinates on a regular basis.
- Manages and assists all Slot Ambassadors as well as operating the Players club.
- Manages and assists all Slot Technicians including facilitating projects, managing gaming floor wiring and organizing table game moves.
- Collaborates with Director of Casino Operations to forecast and prepare fiscal budget for the department.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Five (5) years of Slot Management experience required. Three (3) years preferred as a Slot Ambassador, Slot Technician, or in a position involving direct slot machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Knowledge of the technical details of all slot machine manufacturers. Ability to diagnose and repair all slot machines.
- Must be able to comprehend all information and documentation.
- Must have or be able to obtain Gaming Registration.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, customers and outside contacts.
- Strong leadership skills required.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to use standard office equipment.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Access.
- Expertise in Slot Marketing and Operations.
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple projects with timeliness and accuracy.
- Ability to initiate and complete projects that create competitive advantage for the company.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of Konami Systems, CIS and CAD preferred.
- Previous experience at a large resort preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Move around all work areas effectively and efficiently.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Ability to work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, and smoke.
- Follow all safety procedures as established by the company.
