Housekeeper and Porter

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Housekeeper / Porter to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of hygiene.
• Conduct janitorial duties such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and ensuring restrooms are clean and stocked.
• Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and appropriate floor care techniques to preserve their appearance and safety.
• Assist with custodial tasks related to industrial cleaning projects or specialized facilities maintenance as needed.
• Support with residential painting tasks or minor repairs to enhance the property's appearance and functionality.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Provide porter services by assisting with furniture moving, delivering supplies within the facility, and supporting overall facility upkeep.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial services, or facilities maintenance.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing.
• Experience with commercial cleaning environments or industrial cleaning projects is preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and climbing ladders when necessary.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Basic skills in residential painting or minor repairs are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

Pay: $21.73 - $26.16 per hour
