Downtown Ford is seeking a Ford Certified Transmission Technician to join our high-performing service team. This role is ideal for an experienced technician who specializes in transmission diagnostics and repairs and takes pride in doing the job right the first time.
Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and rebuild automatic and manual transmissions
- Perform advanced transmission, drivetrain, and powertrain diagnostics
- Accurately document repairs and findings on repair orders
- Follow Ford repair procedures and manufacturer specifications
- Communicate clearly with service advisors regarding repair needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Stay current with Ford training and certification requirements
Qualifications
- Ford Certified Transmission Technician (required)
- Proven experience in transmission repair and diagnostics
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license
- Own tools required
