Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team at Downtown Family Dental of Baraboo. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. This position requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, a high rate of accuracy and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Perform thorough dental cleanings for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care.
• Take and record vital signs as necessary during patient assessments.
• Utilize Eaglesoft systems for patient management, including scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate patient records.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
• Support the dental team with general dentistry tasks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Requirements

• Valid Dental Hygienist license in the State of WI.
• Current CPR certification
• Proficient in using Eaglesoft systems or similar dental software.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Previous experience in general dentistry is a plus.
• Ability to take x-rays accurately and efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.

Pay: $45.00 - $52.00 per hour
