Are you interested in being part of a locally owned and operated, family-oriented general dentistry practice that makes a positive difference in the community and for our patients? Our goal is to provide exceptional dental care in a relaxed environment. As part of the expansion of our small, locally owned practice, we are seeking a full-time dental assistant to fill the position. Office hours are Monday through Thursday 8am - 5pm.
Our organization welcomes both experienced professionals and recent graduates seeking mentorship.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build rapport and trust with patients
- Educate patients on treatments planned by dentist
- Complete full mouth x-rays and panoramic x-ray images
- Assist dentist in everyday procedures (restorative, oral surgery, dentures/partials
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Document patient appointment notes
- Sterilize and maintain instruments
- Disinfect and prepare operatories
- Organize treatment and lab area
- Fabricate temporary crowns
- Learn and utilize intraoral scanner
- Assist and complete digital photo documentation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
