Client Advocate Driver

The role of the Client Advocate is to provide efficient and effective operation of daily programs and supporting infrastructure to facilitate clients in purposeful and productive lives.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist clients in gaining social and vocational skills and ensure that each client feels welcome and involved.
• Knows all clients, ISPs, interests, issues and dreams and ensures that schedules and documentation reflect clients’ needs. Serves as front line support for individuals’ crises, health related activities, goals and services.
• Has a clear and assertive understanding of:
• Standard DODD procedure (Basic First Aid, Medication, Personal Funds, Incident reporting, and Documentation), Downsize Farm philosophy (All clients and staff are family), Venue quality (attention to venue menu and quarterly schedule), and Client development (Quality care for everyone served, Ensuring movement on PATH)
• Monitors appearance of building and property according to standards.

Qualifications for The Job

• Education:
• High School diploma
• Experience:
• One year or more experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Other:
• Meets eligibility and certification standards of DODD for Adult Services Employment.
• Valid drivers’ license with 6 points or less on driving record.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
