Downriver Refrigeration Supply Co. is a family-owned HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) wholesaler with eight locations in Southeastern Michigan. We have an excellent reputation for industry knowledge, customer service, and available inventory.
We are currently seeking a part-time Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate would be a hard-working, reliable, self-starting professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Greet customers and visitors in a professional and friendly manner and be able to handle their inquiries appropriately.
- Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls, emails, mail, and inter-office documents.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date records and files.
- Maintain a clean and organized office and work area.
- Assist in clerical duties
- Assist in Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable
- Assist Office Management
- Other responsibilities and/or duties may be assigned as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Previous experience in an office setting providing administrative support
- Detail oriented
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to learn new systems/software quickly
- Proficient in data entry and typing with high accuracy
- Experience working with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, stay on task, and meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
