What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher position at Downingtown Country Club?
To assist in preparing and presenting all menu items in a professional manner as to maintain the high standards of quality set forth
To clean, sterilize, and wash all dish, flatware, pots, pans, and utensils
To assist in ensuring that all good practices of operation are maintained at all times, this would include proper food preparation and storage as stated by the Board of Health standards, kitchen cleanliness, and proper attire at all times.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. To follow policies and schedules for the operation in the kitchen facility.
2. To assist in looking for new and profitable ways to better serve the guests.
3. To assist in ensuring the cleanliness of the facility is of the highest priority, making sure that the reputation of the service is maintained at all times.
4. To help in the coordination of all events and activities with the operating departments of the Golf Course in order to provide the best possible service to the guests.
5. Following standardized recipes set forth by management.
6. Ensure any customer complaints are handled efficiently and tactfully.
7. At all times, present a favorable image.
Working Conditions:
1. Employee must be able to lift/handle up to 20 lbs. occasionally
2. Work extended hours during golf and holiday season
3. Work weekends and holidays
4. Physical activity including long periods of standing, walking, bending,
5. Operate food service equipment and clean food service areas
6. Fast paced high traffic areas with a moderate to loud noise level
