As an Enhancement Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing landscape enhancement projects for existing and prospective clients within a broad commercial landscape portfolio in a designated territory. This role works closely with maintenance account managers, operations teams, and clients to identify and sell ancillary services that enhance property appearance, functionality, and long-term value. The Enhancement Account Manager plays a key role in driving revenue growth while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and sell landscape enhancement opportunities, including upgrades, renovations, seasonal improvements, and specialty projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients through regular communication, site visits, and proactive recommendations.
- Conduct site evaluations and collaborate with operations and estimating teams to develop enhancement scopes, pricing, and proposals.
- Present enhancement plans and proposals clearly and professionally, addressing client objectives and budget expectations.
- Coordinate with project managers and field teams to ensure successful execution of sold enhancement projects.
- Monitor project progress, quality, and client satisfaction throughout the lifecycle of each enhancement.
- Resolve client questions or concerns related to enhancement projects promptly and professionally.
- Track sales activity, pipeline, and performance using CRM or internal systems.
- Meet or exceed assigned enhancement revenue and margin goals.
- Stay informed on landscape design trends, materials, and best practices to provide value-added recommendations.
- Identifying and resolving customer concerns with a high sense of urgency
- Supervising the operations team that supports the client portfolio
- Proactively identifying, hiring, retaining, and developing top talent
- Performing other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in landscape management, horticulture, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 3-5 years of experience in landscaping, enhancement sales, project management, or a related client-facing role.
- Ability to work outside during the summer months
- Proven ability to sell services and manage customer relationships in a service-based environment.
- Strong understanding of landscape enhancement services, materials, and installation practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, estimating tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally to client sites as needed.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of account management experience in a service industry
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience
- Experience in commercial, HOA, municipal, or large residential enhancement projects.
- Familiarity with landscape design/build, irrigation upgrades, hardscapes, lighting, or arbor enhancements.
- Strong collaboration skills with operations and production teams.
- Experience working in a multi-branch or large landscaping organization.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
- Self-motivated, results-driven mindset with a consultative sales approach.
