3yr old Preschool Teacher
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development in areas such as math, language, science, and physical education.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, ensuring their well-being and promoting their social-emotional development.
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages active participation and fosters a love of learning.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing individualized support and guidance as needed.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education.
- Maintain accurate records of each child's attendance, behavior, and academic progress.
- Follow all licensing regulations, health and safety guidelines, and child welfare policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred or willing to work toward a degree.
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting preferred.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education. preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the needs of all children.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to pass a background check.
