RESIDENTIAL MANAGER
FULL TIME; EXEMPT
POSITION SUMMARY
The Residential Manager is a salaried full-time – live on the Ranch - manager position located in Residential, reporting to the Program Manager. The Program Manager oversees all aspects of staff engagement with individuals served in assigned residential programs. The Manager supports the mission of Down Home Ranch by being an integral part of supporting staff to ensure those served in residential have access to a typical living experience. The Manager will join with other staff in a high-level commitment to provide an excellent quality of life for the individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities served through Ranch programming.
Typical work schedule is Monday through Friday 2:00pm to 10:00pm with some flexibility, position will require days, evenings and weekend work; schedule and hours will be adjusted according to the needs of Down Home Ranch. Manager will be required to rotate on-call weekends.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Develop and implement the goals of Residential
- Substitutes in the home and during residential programing across shifts and programs when no other staff are available
- Provides and/or coordinates on-site after-hours emergency coverage
- Maintains consistent focus upon the rights, well-being, and continual development of individuals being served
- Coordinates with necessary Down Home Ranch staff across programs to implement individualized goals and objectives for each individual being served
- Works closely with the Director and other Managers to ensure all assigned areas are compliant with policies, procedures and best practice guidance
- Ensures all assigned areas complete paperwork correctly and timely, and is able to manage these requirements effectively
- Interfaces with families, service planning teams and interdisciplinary teams
- Ensures appropriate levels of supervision for individuals served while in the care of assigned area
- Ability to work with, teach, mentor and supervise people with disabilities
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Conducts ongoing supervision meetings with assigned staff to provide coaching, mentoring, and training
- Works with auditors during annual reviews
- Attends staff meetings, cross functional committees, workshops and trainings
- Performs other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, applicable laws and Health and Human Services regulations.
- Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and solving problems.

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum age of 21; excellent driving record and able to pass extensive background investigation
- Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university or equivalent experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Provides excellent customer service
- Lives on the Ranch in employment contingent housing
- Experience and comfortable with business software including an electronic medical record
- Team player with strong skills in leadership, training, and delegation of duties
- History of supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or other vulnerable populations
- Completes work with a high degree of autonomy
- Detail-oriented, works well under pressure, takes initiative to solve problems, meets deadlines
- Outstanding interpersonal relationship building, employee coaching, and development skills
- Demonstrates knowledge of basic economic, budgeting, and accounting principles and practices
- Ability to bring others together and reconcile differences
- Ability to make business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with organization policies and procedures
