We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Carpenter to lead and oversee complex construction projects, ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Supervise and mentor carpenters, handymen, and other tradespeople on-site, promoting safety protocols and best practices for power tool safety and heavy lifting.
- Oversee the installation of fixtures, cabinetry, doors, siding, stucco, flooring, tile laying, roofing, and other finishing elements with precision.
- Interpret construction plans and schematics to guide fabrication, metal stud framing, rebar installation, masonry work, plastering, and concrete forming activities.
- Manage the procurement and use of wood construction materials, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, and other supplies necessary for quality craftsmanship.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations across all tasks including electrical work, plumbing, restoration projects such as mold remediation or water damage restoration.
- Coordinate with project managers to meet project timelines while maintaining high standards of quality in remodeling or restoration efforts.
Qualifications
- Extensive construction experience with a strong background in residential carpentry and general contracting.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools for woodworking and metal work.
- Knowledge of woodworking techniques including framing, trim carpentry, fixture installation and cabinetry.
- Familiarity with safety standards related to power tools usage and heavy lifting procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during restoration or remodeling projects.
