What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant/ Toddler Assistant Teacher position at Down By The Creek Children's Center?
At Down by the Creek, we specialize in the care of children ranging in ages 1-5. We engage with our students in the form of play, exploration, imagination and nurturing. We are seeking teachers to join us in that engagement. Some of the daily duties include diapering and toileting children, preparing their meals and snacks, creating crafts and projects and supervising outdoor and indoor activities. All of these are done as a team, while maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students to grow and thrive.
We are seeking help in our Infant and Toddler classrooms! Our students age ranges 6 months - 2 years of age in these rooms. We are in need of a hard working teacher's assistant to help our lead with the class's daily routine and lesson plans that are created for each week.
Duties include Diapering, potty training, feeding, giving bottles, lifting up to 30 pounds, preparing student lunches, engaging in play with children, supervising indoors and outdoors and helping the staff cleaning with the end of the day cleaning responsibilities. Applicants must be 18 years and older and be ready to work in a fast-paced environment while bringing in a positive, hard working energy to the class each day.
