**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to customers. This is a critical role that requires a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities:**
- Safely operate a box truck or van to transport goods to customers, ensuring all items are properly loaded and secured for transportation.
- Manage routes to minimize delays and optimize delivery times, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Lift and move heavy items, including pallets and boxes, as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, including loading and unloading goods, and ensuring all equipment is properly stored and maintained.
- Drive on designated routes, following traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking and monitoring packages.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks, reporting any issues or concerns to management.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading of goods.
**Skills:**
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier.
- Strong knowledge of route driving and heavy lifting.
- Ability to operate a box truck or van safely and efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.
- Experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with loading and unloading goods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
